Leading the expedition is Ibbeyz—a seasoned PADI Instructor and underwater photographer whose life revolves around the ocean. With years spent diving the deep walls of Fuvahmulah, he brings not only expert photographic guidance but also rare insight into the island’s elusive pelagic predators, from majestic thresher sharks to the legendary tiger sharks.

Then comes the magic—Sovile, a master of visual storytelling, steps in to reveal how raw footage becomes cinematic underwater masterpieces. With every edit, every frame, he’ll show you how to turn your dive into a story worth remembering. Together, you won’t just capture the moment—you’ll immortalize it.

Led by Ibbeyz and Sovile, workshops will cover essential skills like composition, lighting, color grading, and editing techniques that will elevate your underwater photography to new heights.

For the Sharks & Shots Expedition, we’ve partnered with Ataraxis Grand & Spa, a modern boutique hotel located on the tranquil northern end of Fuvahmulah. After your dives on the island’s wild southern reef, return to spacious rooms, hot showers, air conditioning, and peaceful surroundings—ideal for recharging both body and mind.

Our photography and shark behavior workshops are held right at Ataraxis—either in the elegant main lobby or on the rooftop terrace overlooking the island and open sky. It’s where stories are shared, skills are sharpened, and your footage turns into art.
